Slacker

I guess I should update this thin once in a while huh? Well things have been great for Erin and I. Today marks our three year anniversary. Three years has flown by and our second year of marriage has brought us all kinds of fun stuff. Logan arrived in year two, a new home, new car, new cat and I'm sure there are a lot of other things that happened but those are the highlights. I have been working a couple over nights lately for work and my body hates me for it. I am so tired and I cannot sleep because its too bright outside. I guess it could be worse though. Erin is having a great time at her job and she is learning a lot about payroll and the like. Really she is a pro already but there is always stuff to learn. Well I'm going to make this one short and end it here but at least there was an update.

Homeless

I never though I would ever be without my own place to stay. Erin and I have moved out of our apartment of three years and have moved our possessions into my parents garage and we have moved into Erin parents spare bed room. We were able to get moved out of our apartment in a record time of 1:30. Erin and I had almost everything in boxes so our help just had to move it into 2 trucks, 1 trailer, 1 Vibe, 1 Acadia, 1 Pilot and Erin's Aveo. Only two things were damaged in the move, Logan's crib and Erin's Kitchen Aid Mixer. luckily all my Warmachine figure transported quite well (haven't looked in the box yet however). So things are good and our closing date is right on time for the 5th so were still crossing our fingers and hoping all will turn out for us.

Logan

So Logan is about 7 months now and is huge. I see one year old kids walking around that are smaller then him. Hes eating baby food and loves it mostly the fruits vegetables are gross anyway. We are excited to get his new room ready when we move. We think hes getting some teeth in but he does not let us look much, crawling is the next step or maybe sleeping through the night is, we'll see I guess.

Seriously?

So i get to wake up at the butt crack of dawn every morning and this is what I woke up to today.

Almost Closing Time

So things are moving along a lot faster than we could have anticipated. We thought we would be moving into our home at the end of March, which would give us plenty of time to prepare. We are moving at the end of this week. Time to enter panic mode. We have to be out of our apartment that we have been living in for the last 3 years by the 28th of February and we move in the 5th of March into OUR home. We are excited but for about a week were going to kinda be in a state of limbo. We are packing all of our stuff into my parents garage and are staying with the in laws for that week. It will be a stressful 2 weeks during the whole thing but you cant complain about family that is so willing to lend a hand. I got interviewed for a Department Manager job and was lucky enough to get the position so that was nice I do however have to give up my weekends off. I will still get all day Sunday off but lose Saturday. There must be some sacrifice I guess.

Changes

Change is good. Erin and I purchased a house after many days of searching. We are really excited and nervous but the nerves are filtering out and we are left with excitement and anxiousness. I was also interviewed for a new manager position and should be getting a decent raise to go along with it. things are falling into place for us in a very unexpected way. Just cant wait for the move in date to come.

Buying A Home

Wow who knew that this would be so stressful? Probably all of you that have done it I guess. Anyway Erin and I have been looking to buy a home for the last month now and we have narrowed it down to "the" one. We were using a gentleman by the name of Gordon to help us find a home, when I say he was helping us find one I mean I was finding them all online and he was unlocking the doors for us so we could look inside. We looked at 19 homes in total and the day we found "the" home it happened to be raining, this is significant because the day we found the car we decided to buy it was also raining. So after deciding to put an offer on the home we sat down with Gordon and started signing papers. Hours later there seemed to be something just not right about the offer so we called first thing in the morning and had the contract destroyed. We did some research and talked with another mortgage agent and also contacted another Broker. So we spoke with Mark and felt comfortable with the manipulation of number and decided to make an offer. We are currently waiting for a call and will be notified before 5:00 pm on Monday the 16th. Stress levels are high as well as hope levels. Wish us luck.
